OUR PRINCIPAL

RUDY FISCHER, BCom, CPA, CMA

Born and raised in Sarnia Ontario

I  started my career in Ottawa Valley in the high-tech industry where I worked in technical and engineering roles. I quickly rose to take on executive roles in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Marketing.

In 2001, we moved to Toronto where I worked for telecommunications, financial, and software as a service  (SaaS)  providers such as Sprint Canada, Rogers Communications, and Everlink Payment Services, where I held executive roles in Marketing, Product Management, IT Professional Services, and Sales.

​

In 2010, became a partner in RK Fischer & Associates, which is a business coaching and consulting firm that focused on helping small businesses solve business problems while delivering value and creating growth through solutions that help businesses move forward and become profitable.

​

In 2012, under RK Fischer & Associates, I took on Accounting and Finance roles for small to medium businesses in Ontario. In addition, I worked as a delivery consultant for the Business Development Bank of Canada where Iprovided financial management and financial performance improvement engagements.

 

In 2016, I attended and become certified under the Certified Value Builder™  program that provides consulting professionals with the know-how to guide business owners in practices that will help them increase the value of their business.

In 2017, returned to Sarnia, where I have continued consulting and coaching as a partner of RK Fischer & Associates as well as taking on several controller roles for companies in Southwestern Ontario.  In addition, I taught courses in business at both Lambton College and Fanshawe College.

​

In 2020, I started Entrust Accounting and Advisory Services so I am able to offer compilations and tax services to the public which was not possible under RK Fischer & Associates, as it is not a CPA firm.

​

In additions to schooling and work experience, I have found it important to give back to the communities in which I live in the following ways:
